It’s more about Caring of the patient than actual fixing of the bone. It’s really the ability to understand what an injury means to the patient, not just to the limb. It’s sympathizing with fears they have with their future state of employments and relationships.
Patients don’t come out and say it, but it is there and to not appreciate it really interferes with the way that patient recovers.
